One UI 7 Android Auto issue

Google has brought weather apps support to Android Auto and Android Automotive, which allows drivers to check the weather while on the road. This new feature is currently in the beta phase, which means it’s still being tested, but drivers can already download some weather apps to use.

Previously, Google limited the types of apps available for Android Auto and Android Automotive to ensure safety while driving. These apps were categorized under Media (audio), Navigation, Messaging, Point of Interest (POI), and Internet of Things (IoT). Android Automotive also includes Video, Games, and Browsers, but these can only be used when the car is parked.

With the support for Weather apps, drivers can now get weather updates based on their location or route. This can help people plan their trips and stay informed about weather conditions along the way.

Earlier this year at Google I/O, Google first announced plans to bring weather apps to Android Auto. Now, the feature is under beta testing with some weather apps already available for download, thanks to Mishaal Rahman for spotting.

The new weather apps for Android Auto and Android Automotive will show real-time weather information to make it easier for drivers to stay up-to-date while on the road. Stay tuned as Google is regularly working to make its stable version soon.
