Samsung Sonic MicroSD Cards US

Samsung launched Sonic-inspired Pro Plus microSD cards in the US. The company has expanded its microSD portfolio with a line of new cards inspired by iconic characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

The new products give players an exciting new way to celebrate their fandom. Samsung has created the Sonic the Hedgehog PRO Plus microSD cards in collaboration with Sega, available in special designs depicting:

  • Knuckles (128GB)
  • Tails (256GB)
  • Sonic (512GB)
  • Shadow (1TB)

It’s worth noting that Sega’s Sonic the Hedgehog PRO Plus microSD cards feature the face and distinct color of their Sonic character – red for Knuckles, yellow for Tails, blue for Sonic, and black for Shadow.

The new microSD cards offer rapid sequential read and write speeds of up to 180 MB/s and 130 MB/s. At the 1TB capacity, the Sonic the Hedgehog PRO Plus microSD can store extremely high volume of assets, including:

  • More than 47 hours of 4K UHD video
  • More than 437,000 4K UHD images
  • More than 45 (20GB) video games

Sonic the Hedgehog PRO Plus microSD cards are compatible with a wide range of devices, including handheld game consoles, smartphones, tablets, action cameras and drones.

Sonic the Hedgehog PRO Plus microSDs were tested extensively to deliver the proven reliability users have come to expect from Samsung, including durability against water, high temperatures, X-rays, and even magnetic fields.
