Stuttering and Bootloop problems hit Galaxy S22 after One UI 6.1 update
Samsung’s Galaxy AI expansion with One UI 6.1 may have put the Galaxy S22 series in trouble as users complain of stuttering and bootloop problems. The situation is getting worse day by day and there’s no solution for prevention.
Back in September, Samsung expanded the One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy S22 series. There are several complaints stating stuttering and bootloop issues on the Galaxy S22 series smartphones after installing the One UI 6.1 update.
One UI 6.1 was a major upgrade for the S22 series that brought plenty of new AI features. Meanwhile, the latest software is acting like a disaster on certain Galaxy models, even leading towards motherboard failure.
Affected Galaxy S22 models are either lagging/stuttering or stuck in a bootloop. Users also complain that their phones are randomly freezing and crashing. The issue is at the worst state for some, randomly restarting several times a day.
Related complaints have been posted across the internet including social platforms and Members community. Samsung usually offers free support to consumers if the problem is caused by a software or application update.
However, this doesn’t seem to be the case with the Galaxy S22 owners.
Some users allege that Samsung technicians at the service center are declining free service, citing it as a faulty motherboard. Well, executives often make excuses once knowing the phone is out of warranty and the consumer isn’t willing for a paid repair.
The problem seems widespread and needs an urgent inquiry. The company should find out the glitch and address it. Authorized service centers should be directed to offer proper support after evaluation that the issue isn’t user-generated.
