Android lock screen clock features

Android users seem to have more ways to personalize the clock on their lock screen soon. Google is working on new features that will let Android users customize their lock screen clock more than ever before.

Android 14 allows a few basic options for adjusting the clock, like changing its size and color. Now, the search giant is preparing new features that will offer much more control.

In the latest Android 15 QPR2 Beta 2, a well-known tipster @MishaalRahman found hints of new settings that will let users change the weight, width, roundness, and slant of the lock screen clock. Although this feature isn’t available yet, a preview of the new settings page has been spotted.

Notably, users will be able to make these changes by tapping an edit button on the clock style, which will allow for more detailed adjustments. The upcoming Android update will let users customize clocks on the lock screen even further to match their style.

It’s unclear if these new options will work with all clock styles, but the addition of these features shows Google is working to give users more control. These features are currently under development. Stay tuned for more updates as Google works to roll out these changes.
