WhatsApp Beta brings new business management features, AI replies
WhatsApp is introducing new features for its business app in the latest beta update for Android. The fresh update arrives with version 2.24.26.16, available through the Google Play Beta Program.
The update brings a business platform connection feature and AI-powered replies to enhance customer service and streamline business operations. These new features are currently available to some beta testers and WhatsApp plans to make them available to more users in the coming weeks.

AI-Powered Replies
This new feature allows businesses to use AI to automatically reply to customer messages when no one is available to answer. The AI can respond to common questions, help customers with their purchases, or even handle more complex requests.
Customers will be notified when they are talking to AI, so they know they are not talking to a real person. Businesses can also set the AI to speak in the same voice as their brand to ensure a seamless customer experience even when AI handles the interaction.
Business Platform Connection
Before this update, businesses using WhatsApp’s Business Platform couldn’t manage their accounts directly from the WhatsApp app. With the new update, businesses can connect their platform account to the app to make it easier to handle everything in one place.
Users can also share up to six months of chat history with the app. However, group chat history cannot be transferred.
