Teaser leak confirms Samsung Galaxy S25 Series unveiling for January 22
Samsung is mum on the Galaxy S25 series launch date but a new teaser leak has spilled the beans on the unveiling of this new flagship lineup and confirmed it for the second half of January 2025.
The Korean smartphone maker used to unveil its Galaxy S series somewhere in the first quarter of the year. In the past few years, the company has rescheduled this strategy and started unveiling this flagship in January.
The S24 series was unveiled on January 17 and the successor will take only a few more days to make a debut.
Earlier today, well-known tipster evleaks shared an image via his X account revealing the upcoming Unpacked event. The image mentioned (in Italian) “Galaxy Unpacked” and “22 January 2025”.
It has no specific mentions of the Galaxy S25 series but that’s what the Unpacked teaser does. Since we know that Samsung kicks off the year with the S series flagship launch, a formal hint wouldn’t be required for the time being.
Evleaks has a track record for proven leaks and we can take this new input as a top contender for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series unveiling date.
Galaxy S25
Samsung Galaxy S25 series will include three models – standard, plus, and ultra. These three phones will continue the legacy of Galaxy S24. However, you will see a couple of new changes in the Ultra.
It will feature a new flat frame and round corners. This will be a direct shift in Samsung’s design philosophy for flagship smartphones. On the other hand, the phone will pack with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with improved processing power.
Furthermore, it will bring generative AI features with a brand new One UI 7 software out of the box. We’ll also see new colors for all three models providing new options for customers.
