Samsung to resolve one-hand gesture notification glitch in One UI 7 soon

Samsung One UI 7 one hand issue

Some Samsung Galaxy users have reported an issue when using the One-Hand gesture on their phone’s lock screen, especially when trying to view notifications. When users swipe down to see the notifications, they sometimes overlap incorrectly with the gesture. This issue has been causing frustration for users who prefer using the one-hand mode.

This issue appeared because of changes in the notification window behavior in One UI 7, which is currently in the beta phase. These changes unintentionally caused issues with how the one-hand gesture interacted with the notification panel and led to the overlap.

Samsung has acknowledged the issue and apologized to users who have experienced this problem. The community moderator has confirmed that the issue has been fixed and will be included in the next update for the One-Hand Operation+ app.

Once the update is released, the bug should be fixed, and users will be able to swipe down on the lock screen to view their notifications without them overlapping with the gesture. This will make it easier for users to manage their notifications without any issues.

However, the community moderator hasn’t mentioned an exact date for the update yet. So, keep an eye out for the next One-Hand Operation update, as it will provide a smoother and more efficient experience.
