Samsung Galaxy S22 series grabbing December 2024 security update
Samsung has released the December 2024 security update for Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones. The update is currently available in Europe and the company will soon expand it in more countries.
The company is dispatching the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device.
According to the scope page, the update fixes over 45 issues of Google and Samsung to make your device more secure and stable. December 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series comes with the One UI build versions mentioned below.
- S901BXXSDEXKA – Galaxy S22
- S906BXXSDEXKA – Galaxy S22 Plus
- S908BXXSDEXKA – Galaxy S22 Ultra
The installation package size of this update is around 260MB. Users can download the update via Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to make it ready for more new updates and One UI 7.
Samsung recently released One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 series in limited countries. The company is regularly working to make it available for more Galaxy flagship models.
