Samsung has just kicked off the One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 series in the US and it is also available in more countries including Korea, the UK, and Germany at the same time. This update brings several fixes and improvements to make the phone perform better.

One UI 7 Beta 2 update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series can be identified via firmware versions ending with ZXL5. Users will have to download around 1GB of package to install the update.

The new beta update fixes several issues that users encountered in the previous beta version. It resolves issues with the continuous display and errors that occurred after closing the Now Bar. It also fixes problems with the personal app drawer not displaying properly.

Moreover, the update improves the connection features. It fixes the issue where users couldn’t connect to some TV models wirelessly through DeX. There’s also a fix for the reminder widget, which now works properly with transparency. The weather widget also had a background color problem, which has been fixed.

App performance is smoother with One UI 7 Beta 2 as improvements are made to the speed of switching between apps on the recent apps screen. Power-saving mode also has a fix for intermittent resets, and there’s a better GPS function for more accurate location tracking.

Samsung has also improved some features related to Wi-Fi and NFC connections when setting routines. Additionally, there’s a new option in the Game Booster to adjust the screen refresh rate.
