Samsung improves Nearby Device Scanning with quickpair popup, encryption features
Samsung has pushed a fresh update for its Nearby Device Scanning app with version 11.1.18.3, which brings enhancements to the overall user experience. The update introduces new functionalities that aim to improve device connectivity and security.
The Nearby Device Scanning app now supports Quickpair popups for new devices. When you bring a new device close to your Samsung phone or tablet, a pop-up will appear to make it easier to pair your device. This quick pairing process saves time by automatically detecting nearby compatible devices to allow you to connect without going through multiple steps.
In addition, the update improves the encryption when launching third-party apps. It means that when you open apps, your data will be more secure. This additional layer of security ensures that your data is more protected.
Aside from this, the update also includes stability improvements and bug fixes. This helps the Nearby Device Scanning feature work more smoothly and reduces any previous issues users might have faced.
The update is available on the Galaxy Store with a small installation package size of just 7.89MB. You can download the update through Galaxy Store >> Menu Option >> Updates. Also, you can download the update from the third-party app link mentioned here.
