Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone users are receiving a new firmware update with a December 2024 security patch. This update brings the latest Android security enhancements to improve the overall performance of the device by fixing several issues.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE are getting the December 2024 security update with One UI build version S711BXXS6DXK8. The update requires a download of around 300 MB.

Currently, the update is rolling out in Europe, with plans to extend to more countries soon. As it is an initial rollout, it may take time to reach all devices.

At the same time, Samsung is working on the One UI 7 based on Android 15. This new version of One UI is in the beta phase and is currently only available for the Galaxy S24 series in a few countries. Galaxy S23 series users, including those with the S23 FE, are still waiting for the beta update.

It’s expected that Samsung will release the One UI 7 beta for the Galaxy S23 series in January 2025. However, it’s not certain if Galaxy S23 FE users will get to try the beta version.

Samsung announced to launch of the stable version of One UI 7 with the Galaxy S25 series next year. After that, the stable version will be available for other Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 FE.
