One UI 7: Restore App Drawer Pages on Samsung Galaxy Smartphones

One UI 7 app pages view

With One UI 7, Samsung Galaxy phones have received several changes, one of which is the transition from the app drawer pages to a scrolling vertical grid. However, not all users liked this change as they preferred the traditional one.

The fresh new vertical layout is one of the most demanding enhancements, which streamlines the process of finding apps for some users, while others may prefer the familiar page layout. Fortunately, you can restore to the previous setup on One UI 7 with a few easy steps.

Although Samsung didn’t provide a direct setting for this with One UI 7 beta, the company made it possible to revert to the old layout in an indirect way. Whether you like the scroll or the page-by-page app drawer, One UI 7 gives you the flexibility to choose the style that works best for you.

How to restore the App Drawer Pages view:

If you miss the old app drawer pages, follow these steps to get them back:

  • Swipe up from the home screen on your Galaxy phone.
  • Look for the small three-dot menu button at the bottom of the app drawer and tap it.

  • Tap on “Sort” in the menu.
  • Choose Custom order.

By doing this, your app drawer will go back to showing apps on pages rather than scrolling.
