US Unlocked Galaxy S24 models getting December 2024 update [Non-Beta Testers]

Samsung has released the December 2024 security update for unlocked models of the Galaxy S24 series in the US. This update is already available for locked models on the T-Mobile network and the company will expand it soon in more countries.

Users of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones are getting a December 2024 update with One UI build versions S921U1UES4AXKF, S926U1UES4AXKF, and S928U1UES4AXKF respectively.

The fresh update improves system security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience. It fixes several issues encountered in the previous version to enhance the overall performance of the app. You can install the update via Settings >> Software Updates >> Download and install.

December 2024 security update is rolling out for non-beta testers of the Galaxy S24 series in the US. It means that if you have downloaded and installed the latest One UI 7 Beta update on your smartphone then, you will not receive a stable security patch.

However, beta users can enjoy new One UI 7 features and enhancements ahead of the official release. Users can test the redesigned interface, new app icons and features, advanced security, and camera options on their Samsung Galaxy S24 smartphone. Notably, the beta version also includes some bugs.
