Stable One UI 7 update will remove ‘Secured by Knox’ watermark
Last week, Samsung released the One UI 7 Beta update, introducing several new features and enhancements along with a “Secured by Knox” watermark in the App Drawer. Several Galaxy S24 series users found this watermark distracting and asked for it to be removed. The good news for them is that the “Secured by Knox” watermark will be removed in the stable One UI 7 update.
According to the Samsung Beta Moderator, the “Secured by Knox” watermark will disappear in the One UI 7 stable update. This means the app drawer will be cleaner and less distracting.
The watermark has been added to indicate that the device is secured by Knox, and it may be that Samsung enhanced the device’s security due to the beta release containing bugs. The watermark also shows that your device is testing the beta version of One UI 7.
Notably, the Knox watermark appears in the bottom-right corner of the app drawer, just above the search bar on your Galaxy phone. This can be annoying as it hides part of the last app icon in the app drawer.
Currently, there’s no way to disable the “Secured by Knox” watermark, but it will be removed in the stable One UI 7 update.
Samsung is going to release the One UI 7 Stable update with the Galaxy S25 series launch and then the company will expand it to more Galaxy devices. Till then, stay tuned with us for more information,
