One UI 6 Watch Update live for Galaxy Watch 4 series in India
Samsung has kicked off the Wear OS 5-based One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in India. This update is available for the Bluetooth variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 series and the company will make it available for LTE models soon.
One UI 6 Watch update for Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is already out in Korea and is now live in India. The company will soon expand it to more countries. The firmware versions of the update are given below:
- Galaxy Watch 4 – R870XXU1IXK1/R870OXM1IXK1
- Galaxy Watch Classic – R890XXU1IXK1/R890OXM1IXK1
Samsung completed its beta program after a long 8 beta testing. Now, users can enjoy new features and improvements to their Galaxy Watch. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
One UI 6 Watch update arrives with some cool new features to help you stay on top of your health and fitness. There’s now an Energy Score that shows how well you’re doing based on sleep, activity, and heart rate, and tips to improve.
Sleep tracking is more detailed, with info on your movement, heart rate, and even how you breathe while you sleep. You also get a Race feature to compare your running or cycling to past workouts, and you can create your own workout routine. In addition, there are some fresh watch faces to choose from.
If you have an eligible Galaxy Watch, install the update now by connecting your smartphone with it. Now, you just need to open the Galaxy Wearable app, tap on Watch Settings, then Software Updates and Download and install.
