Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 getting December 2024 update in the US

Samsung has kicked off the December 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 smartphones in the US. The update is currently rolling out for locked models on the Verizon network carrier in the US.

The company is dispatching the latest software update with system security improvements to keep your files and data safe on your phone. It also optimizes system stability to offer you uninterrupted and seamless functionality on your device by fixing over 45 security flaws.

Notably, Google patches 6 critical and 28 high-level of CVEs. There’s also one bug that was already addressed in earlier patches and one that doesn’t really affect Samsung devices. Moreover, Samsung has fixed 2 high-level issues with its semiconductor products. This update also addresses 8 SVEs mainly related to Theme Center, Galaxy Watch Bluetooth, SmartSwitch, and Dex Mode.
