One UI 7 adds sticky ‘Secured by Knox’ watermark in the App Drawer
Samsung One UI 7 update brings new features and some exciting changes, including a vertical app drawer and options for customization. In addition, Samsung has added a “Secured by Knox” watermark to the app drawer and it stays there all the time.
In One UI 7, the “Secured by Knox” watermark appears in the bottom-right corner of the app drawer, just above the search bar on your Galaxy phone. This can be distracting for users, and it also causes the last app icon in the drawer to be partially hidden behind the watermark.
The watermark is related to Samsung Knox, the security system designed to keep your data and apps safe. But the issue is that the watermark doesn’t seem to have any clear function. It doesn’t look like it’s adding much value to the user experience, especially since Samsung didn’t include this in earlier versions of One UI.
Unlike other features in One UI 7, this watermark can’t be removed. This is causing frustration among many users who prefer a cleaner, simpler look for their devices.
Though this is just the first beta version of One UI 7, and things could change before the final release. Hopefully, Samsung will allow users to disable it.
Aside from this, Samsung is offering advanced security and privacy features for Galaxy devices with One UI 7. It enhances advances Knox Matrix, Theft Protection, Auto Blocker and more enabling higher device safety.
