Breaking: Samsung closed new One UI 7 Beta enrollment in the US
Hours after kicking off the One UI 7 Beta, Samsung closed new enrollment in the US. The Beta Program’s Wave-I devices are the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra. The Program is available in Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, the UK and the US.
SamsonSirJi/X spotted that the new One UI 7 Beta enrollment in the US has closed. Another X user, AlpacaTech, confirmed the closure of the Beta Program from the Members app. Now, you need to wait for the Program to reopen for registration.
Samsung Members is the key to unlocking the One UI 7 Beta Program. The Beta Program banner is displayed on the home page of the application. Clicking the Beta banner takes you to a little procedure to complete registration.
One UI 7 Beta registration exceeded the limit within hours of the Program’s official launch. This isn’t shocking news, as Samsung users have been eagerly awaiting the Android 15 Beta software since July this year.
Consumers who have managed to sign up have received the Beta 1 over the air. I guess the registrations will reopen at the time when Samsung will release the second Beta firmware update to the current Beta participants.
Until then, you have no official option to get the latest update on your Galaxy. Flashing the OTA manually is a solution to get it immediately. However, we don’t prefer doing it on your primary device as it may lead to data loss.
It’s always to wait rather than rush for Beta software. One UI 7 indeed offers a brand new interface and a host of new features. But it doesn’t mean Samsung Galaxy consumers put their personal data and apps at risk.
