One UI 7 vs iOS 18: Quick Panel and Lock Screen Comparison
One UI 7 Beta is yet to launch but Samsung insider IceUniverse is already busy comparing Quick Panel and Lock Screen tweaks with Apple’s iOS 18. The One UI 7 is the biggest upgrade in Samsung’s history that will uplevel Galaxy experiences.

One UI 7 vs iOS 18 – Lock Screen
The addition of NowBar gives One UI 7 an edge over the iOS 18. The tiny pill is quite useful as it lets you do live activities without occupying much space.
The impend and expandability is also worth noting. In comparison, iOS 18 grabs a large portion to display widget cards on the lock screen, right above the shortcuts.

One UI 7 vs iOS 18 – Media Player
Samsung’s seemingly replicated iOS 18’s lock screen media player into the One UI 7. The interface is quite similar, with Samsung making some component adjustments to display the difference.
The media player card is aligned right after the clock on the lock screen. It appears in One UI 7 after tapping the NowBar card of the media player, which keeps key toggles for adjustments.

One UI 7 vs iOS 18 – Quick Panel
We are quite familiar with the redesigned Quick Panel of the One UI 7. The blur engine is near to perfection and offers an elegant appearance across the panel interface.
The quick panel can also be customized at the user’s convenience. One UI 7 has some tiles inspired from stock Android and the toggle section is here for seamless accessibility.
In side by side comparison, the iOS 18’s quick panel looks more vibrant and dynamic as toggles feature colors inspired by the colorway of the app or service icon.
