The One UI 7 carries innovative new camera features from Galaxy AI, such as Sketch to Image, Live Effect, and Portrait Studio. Samsung flagships that have received the One UI 6.1.1 update, now include the advanced Galaxy AI features.

Portrait Studio is the modern feature that makes every photo feel more personal and special. There’s Sketch to Image for enhancing photos with fun and cheerful visuals. Live Effect will make every photo more dynamic and lively.

Portrait Studio

Samsung’s Portrait Studio allows you to generate unique AI characters from selfies of family or friends, adding a creative touch to your holiday moments.

Choose a character style, with options like Comic, 3D Cartoon, Watercolor, or Sketch. Just take a photo, select a style, and within seconds, an AI character resembling your real face will appear.

Sketch to Image

With Sketch to Image, you can transform any photo into a unique piece of art. You can add objects to your photos to beautify your travel moments and create a more unique narrative. Your photo will look even more beautiful with visual touches processed by Galaxy AI.

Here’s how:

  1. Open the Gallery and select the photo you want to add objects to.
  2. Tap on “Sketch to Image.”
  3. Draw the desired objects using the S Pen.
  4. Tap “Generate” to process the image.

Live Effect

One UI’s AI Live Effect lets you make your photos even more unique and eye-catching. Simply put, this feature turns 2D, still photos into 3D creations with motion.

The cool parallax effect created by Live Effects makes every photo more dynamic, eye-catching, and different from others. Here’s how to use Live Effect:

  1. Open the photo you like.
  2. Make sure the subject of the photo is more dominant than the background.
  3. Activate Live Effect by swiping up from the bottom of the image to display the Live Effect icon.
  4. Save the photo. After processing, the Live Photo will begin to move.
