Samsung Spain has recently revealed many One UI 7 features with rich graphics. The company’s Spanish arm has later taken down the webpage. While reporting, we’ve observed many One UI 7 features already present in One UI 6.1 or One UI 6.1.1.
Circle to Search will remain the key highlight in One UI 7’s Galaxy AI feature suite. In addition, the One UI 7 would upgrade the One UI 6.1 and One UI 6.1.1’s Live Translate, AI Zoom, Portrait Studio, and Live Effects features.
One UI 7 features that are already present in One UI 6.1 or 6.1.1:
AI Zoom
AI Zoom is one of the most highlighted features of the Galaxy S24 FE. It’s already functional on Samsung’s best flagship smartphones, which have upgraded to Galaxy AI with One UI 6.1.
One UI 7 will continue to elevate the photography capabilities on Galaxy phones. With AI Zoom powered by deep learning, you can capture clear zoomed-in images at any distance and zoom level.
Portrait Studio
Samsung debuted Portrait Studio with the One UI 6.1.1. This AI-powered feature unlocks the creation of stunning 3D portraits through images.
One UI 7 will retain the Portrait Studio feature, but the experience will be upscaled with even faster application of styles including watercolor, illustration, drawing, Pop Art, or 3D animation.
Meanwhile, Portrait Studio is a cloud AI feature that requires a network connection and signing in to a Samsung Account, while editing with Portrait Studio results in a resized image up to 9MP.
Sketch to Image
Sketch to Image will be available under the Photo Assist umbrella. Samsung users will get even more relevant outputs from the generative AI-powered image creator.
One UI 7 will not only improve the processing speed but also bring new styles and effects to generate stunning images with aesthetic and appealing appearance.
Galaxy AI’s Sketch to Image requires a network connection and signing in to a Samsung Account. Editing with Sketch to Image results in a resized image up to 12 MP.
Live Effects
Cinematic Photos feature of Google Photos joined Galaxy phones with One UI 6.1.1. The leaked One UI 7 webpage highlighted the Live Effects feature, bringing a lifelike appearance to static images.

Circle to Search
One UI 7 will retain the AI-powered Circle to Search feature. The upgraded version will let you quickly find tutorials for homework, videos, and results with websites on math, chemistry, biology, physics, or anything you need.
Plus, you can instantly translate the entire screen without switching apps. The current iteration also supports live translation features, the the One UI 7 upgrade is likely to make the processing faster and even more convenient.
Live Translate
Live Translate is an epic feature that allows Galaxy users to bypass language barriers. One UI 7 is slated to expand the availability with support for more languages.
Galaxy AI’s Live Translate helps interpret the call for you so language isn’t a barrier. It also works in popular calling and messaging apps, serving as a personal translator in the palm of your hand.
It requires a network connection to receive voice messages. It can translate on-device once the voice messages have been received. Live Translate is only available in the pre-installed Phone app and some third-party apps.

- Tap on “Sketch to Image.”

One UI’s AI Live Effect lets you make your photos even more unique and eye-catching. Simply put, this feature turns 2D, still photos into 3D creations with motion.
The cool parallax effect created by Live Effects makes every photo more dynamic, eye-catching, and different from others. Here’s how to use Live Effect:
- Open the photo you like.
- Make sure the subject of the photo is more dominant than the background.
- Activate Live Effect by swiping up from the bottom of the image to display the Live Effect icon.
- Save the photo. After processing, the Live Photo will begin to move.

Recently, Samsung accidentally revealed new features and improvements of the upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7 update. Now, new features and fresh UI changes of the One UI 7 Samsung Calculator surfaced online.
Samsung Calculator app is known for its simple design, and the One UI 7 version doesn’t bring many changes. However, there are a few noticeable tweaks that you can check on your phone if you are using a Galaxy smartphone running One UI 6 or later.
With One UI 7, the numbers, symbols, and text are now larger to make them easier to read. Apart from that, the overall look and layout of the app are very similar to the previous version of One UI 6.
Moreover, Samsung Calendar is also getting a new icon with One UI 7. The new icon features a color scheme of green, black, and gray. This icon includes three symbols – Add, minus, and equal to.
While the Calculator app hasn’t changed much in terms of design, the larger text could improve readability. It’s unclear if there will be more updates to the app before One UI 7 is officially released, but these changes are a small but useful improvement. Stay tuned for more updates related to One UI 7.

Samsung moves closer to One UI 7 Beta release for Galaxy S24
Samsung Galaxy S24 series is likely to be the first to get the Android 15 update with One UI 7. It’s now December 2024, and a new One UI 7 build has been spotted for the Galaxy S24 Ultra on the test server, Checkfirm. Samsung had announced that they would release a beta version by the end of the year, and this new build shows it’s almost here.
Reports suggest that Samsung is currently progressively working on the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The latest version has changed from ZXKV to ZXKY. The new build shows that Samsung is giving the final touch before rolling out the update. This also means the beta version is very close to being available for users to test.
One UI 7 update will bring a host of new features, including improved user interface design, performance upgrades, and new customization options. It will fully revamp the interface to provide a clearer and simpler look.
As Samsung continues to develop the update, more details will likely emerge in the coming weeks. Notably, Samsung is going to release a stable update next year with the Galaxy S25 series.
