Samsung has pushed the Wear OS 5-based official One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series. The update is currently live for users in Korea and the company will expand it soon to more countries.

Users of Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are getting One UI 6 Watch update with a build version ending with IXK1. The update includes an October 2024 security patch to make the device more secure.

The stable update is available for both beta and non-beta users as Samsung has completely ended the Beta Program for the Galaxy Watch. Users are advised to install this major update to enjoy new features.

The major update enhances health, fitness, and smartwatch features. It introduces the Energy Score, which provides a score based on sleep quality, activity levels, heart rate, and more, with AI-powered recommendations for improvement.

Moreover, sleep tracking gets more detailed, including insights on movement, latency, heart rate, and respiratory rate, along with expanded access to the FDA-authorized Sleep Apnea feature.

Furthermore, new fitness tools include the Race feature, comparing current running/cycling performance with past workouts, and personalized Workout Routines. The update also adds new watch faces, like the Simple Digital and Ultra Info Board, for quick information access.

With Sketch to Image, you can transform any photo into a unique piece of art. You can add objects to your photos to beautify your travel moments and create a more unique narrative. Your photo will look even more beautiful with visual touches processed by Galaxy AI.

Here’s how:

  1. Open the Gallery and select the photo you want to add objects to.
  2. Tap on “Sketch to Image.”
  3. Draw the desired objects using the S Pen.
  4. Tap “Generate” to process the image.

Live Effect

One UI’s AI Live Effect lets you make your photos even more unique and eye-catching. Simply put, this feature turns 2D, still photos into 3D creations with motion.

Recently, Samsung accidentally revealed new features and improvements of the upcoming Android 15-based One UI 7 update. Now, new features and fresh UI changes of the One UI 7 Samsung Calculator surfaced online.

Samsung Calculator app is known for its simple design, and the One UI 7 version doesn’t bring many changes. However, there are a few noticeable tweaks that you can check on your phone if you are using a Galaxy smartphone running One UI 6 or later.

With One UI 7, the numbers, symbols, and text are now larger to make them easier to read. Apart from that, the overall look and layout of the app are very similar to the previous version of One UI 6.

Moreover, Samsung Calendar is also getting a new icon with One UI 7. The new icon features a color scheme of green, black, and gray. This icon includes three symbols – Add, minus, and equal to.

Samsung moves closer to One UI 7 Beta release for Galaxy S24

Samsung Galaxy S24 series is likely to be the first to get the Android 15 update with One UI 7. It’s now December 2024, and a new One UI 7 build has been spotted for the Galaxy S24 Ultra on the test server, Checkfirm. Samsung had announced that they would release a beta version by the end of the year, and this new build shows it’s almost here.

Reports suggest that Samsung is currently progressively working on the One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series. The latest version has changed from ZXKV to ZXKY. The new build shows that Samsung is giving the final touch before rolling out the update. This also means the beta version is very close to being available for users to test.

One UI 7 update will bring a host of new features, including improved user interface design, performance upgrades, and new customization options. It will fully revamp the interface to provide a clearer and simpler look.
