Samsung’s 2nm Exynos 2600 may not see the light of day
Samsung is having much trouble in the commercialization of the Exynos 2500. The 3nm yield rate is less than 20%, leading the Exynos 2500 towards cancellation, and things are not in favor of Samsung Exynos 2600 either.
Tipster Jukanlosreve revealed that Korean design houses anticipate an order reduction from Samsung next year. The decision may align with Samsung Foundry’s status, suggesting that the Exynos 2600 might not see the light of day.
Exynos 2500 has reportedly entered production for the Z Flip 7. The chipset was initially intended to power the S25 and S25 Plus. The Foundry division has failed to improve the yield rate, making it tough to debut with the S25 series.
While design houses are afraid of a reduction in orders, the 2nm plan may be canceled. We’ve heard rumors of Samsung’s facing difficulties with its 2nm chip manufacturing unit in Texas, United States, forcing it to delay mass production.
There are widespread rumors in Korean design houses suggesting that Samsung may reduce orders for next year. Additionally, some speculate that the production of the Exynos 2600 could be canceled altogether.
This year, Samsung has to rely on Qualcomm for Galaxy S25 series chipsets. Exynos 2400 helped the firm better negotiate with Qualcomm for the S24 Ultra’s Snapdragon chip. Things are not in Samsung’s favor this year as there are multiple concerns.
Exynos 2600 would have been a great opportunity to sign major clients for 2nm production. The political shift in the United States may put pressure on TSMC. Hence, Samsung’s canceling 2nm Exynos 2600 rumor should be taken as a grain of salt.

Samsung could let you launch Gemini with power button
Your Samsung Galaxy could soon let you launch Gemini AI through the power button. Currently, you can either launch Bixby or the power menu by pressing the side key.
AndroidAuthority discovered that Gemini AI may be linked to the power button on your Samsung devices. It will unlock fast and easy access to launch the new AI-powered assistant by Google.
Google app’s latest version suggests that the Gemini AI app could soon be triggered by long-pressing the power key on Samsung Galaxy devices.
Once released, the new feature will be displayed through the Gemini AI intro screen that’ll appear in the setup wizard for Samsung devices, informing users that they can “hold down the Side button to talk to Gemini.”
Similar to Google Assistant, Gemini can also be summoned by saying “Hey Google.” However, the power button feature will be a stunning integration, as part of improving user experience.
Since the launch, Google has been evolving the Gemini AI assistant. The platform has recently added a Gemini Live feature for Android users, letting them uniquely use AI magic.
Meanwhile, the power button feature won’t remain limited to just Samsung devices. More strings suggest that Android phones that use the term “power button” will also get the update.
Well, it remains to be seen when the update rolls out for Samsung devices. The Stable One UI 7 could activate the feature after possible unveiling with the Galaxy S25 series early next year.
