Samsung Galaxy A52 grabs November 2024 security update
Samsung is rolling out a new update for the Galaxy A52 smartphone, which installs the latest Android security patch released in November 2024 to improve system security and stability. This update is currently live for users in Europe and the company will soon make it available in more countries.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy A52 smartphone are getting a November 2024 security update with One UI build A525FXXSAFXJ2. Users will have to download around 300MB package to install the update.
Notably, the November 2024 update fixes 52 vulnerabilities in Android and Samsung software. Google has patched 38 high-level issues, and one CVE doesn’t apply to Galaxy devices. Samsung has also addressed 13 issues, including bugs related to multiple users, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, and Settings. These patches aim to improve security and device performance.
The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models. Users are advised to install the update promptly to benefit from the improved security measures.
For those who have not received an update notification, the update can be manually checked and installed. To install the update, open the smartphone’s settings, select ‘Software Update’, and then ‘Download and install’. Samsung rolls out the December 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition via One UI build version F958NKSS2AXKC. Users will have to download around 400MB package to install the update.

Users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
Aside from this, Samsung has rolled out the beta version of One UI 7 for the Galaxy S24 series and announced to make the stable version available with the Galaxy S25 series launch. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is also eligible for the One UI 7.

Samsung has released the December 2024 security update for unlocked models of the Galaxy S24 series in the US. This update is already available for locked models on the T-Mobile network and the company will expand it soon in more countries.
