Samsung Members app ready for One UI 7 Beta

Samsung is getting ready to launch the One UI 7 Beta Program, and it looks like it will happen soon. The company has already rolled out One UI 7 support to some Galaxy apps, and now it seems the Samsung Members app will soon allow users to register for the upcoming beta program in the next few days.
The Korean Tech giant is showing signs that it’s almost ready for the beta release. For joining the beta program, the Samsung Members app is key and it has been updated to support the One UI 7 Beta. A reliable tipster discovered hidden pages in the Samsung Members app version 5.1.00.11 that are connected to signing up, enrolling, and withdrawing from the beta program.
Though Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed the exact start date, these signs suggest the beta update is coming soon. Some reports indicate that the beta update is expected to roll out on November 17. The USA and South Korea are likely to be the first countries to get it. Other countries, like China, India, Germany, Poland, the UK, and more, should get it shortly after.
Users who join the beta program will get a chance to try out the new features, designs, and improvements of One UI 7 before it’s officially released. This is a great opportunity for those who want an early look at what’s new coming.
If you want to be one of the first to try One UI 7, ensure your device is ready and keep an eye on the Samsung Members app for the information page for Beta poster.

Is Samsung starting One UI 8 OS update rollout today?

Samsung fans are talking about the One UI 8 update, based on Android 16 OS. With the Galaxy Unpacked event happening today, July 9, 2025, many are wondering if the rollout starts now.
Let’s break it down.
One UI 8 is set to launch at Unpacked with an improved user interface and new features. The official debut of this software aligns with Samsung’s Summer timeline announced in May 2025.
Samsung’s Unpacked event is today, July 9, and the new Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are debuting with One UI 8 pre-installed. This marks the official start of the rollout for these new foldables.
One UI 7 Beta and Stable releases were delayed greatly due to UI changes. Meanwhile, Samsung has fixed most of the issues by advancing its Android version adoption timeline with Google.
Back in May 2025, Samsung started One UI 8 Beta for the Galaxy S25 series flagships. Beta users might get the stable update sooner, but there’s no confirmation it’s rolling out for all today.
Last month, Samsung dropped the second beta for S25 series users. Leaks from internal builds have showcased some big features and UI tweaks that may be provided with Beta 3 or the official release.
If you own a Galaxy S24, S23, or older foldables, you might need to wait. The update for these devices will likely start in August 2025, and the rollout is phased to ensure stability.
Samsung doesn’t stop here; it has been testing the new One UI 8 software on several Galaxy devices from the Galaxy S flagship lineup to the Galaxy A mid-range and budget series.
Usually, Samsung rolls out updates in stages to avoid bugs and ensure compatibility. New devices get priority, while older models follow after testing and verification among a low volume of users.

After A55, Samsung brings Galaxy A35 into One UI 8 testing zone

July 9 – Galaxy A35 joins A55 with One UI 8 testing
Samsung has now broadened its One UI 8 testing scope to another mid-range phone, the Galaxy A35 5G. It’s been two weeks since the Galaxy A55’s first Android 16 build was spotted, and now the younger sibling has joined the party.

Samsung has already updated the Galaxy A55 and A35 with One UI 7 built on Android 15. This upgrade took a pretty long time in development, testing, and rollout. However, Samsung has sped things up for all Galaxy models with One UI 8.
New foldable phones launching today come pre-installed with One UI 8. The Beta Program is available for the Galaxy S25 series. At the same time, more older flagships are also testing the Android 16 software internally.

Samsung may not expand the One UI 8 Beta to older Galaxy users. Fans are already busy exploring the One UI 7 update, and they literally don’t want a major OS upgrade at such a short distance, rather than the usual, a whole-year gap.
June 27 – Galaxy A55 testing One UI 8
New development reveals Samsung is working on the One UI 8 for the Galaxy A55 5G. Samsung’s Android 16 optimization for Galaxy devices is going on in full fledge, with mid-range models now being added to the testing zone.
As spotted by Alfaturk, Samsung is already testing One UI 8 on the Galaxy A55 5G. Recently, the smartphone with model number SM-A556E has appeared on Geekbench, revealing CPU performance scores.
The device, running One UI 8 internal build, scored 1150 and 3417 points in single-core and multi-core tests, respectively. As the software isn’t final, performance may improve slightly while offering an elevated user experience.
That said, there’s no craze for One UI 8 Beta like we’ve seen for One UI 7. Samsung’s making One UI 8 a worthy upgrade, on a positive note. It will upscale the user interface and user experience in various ways apart from adding new features.
Launched back in March 2024, Galaxy A55 came with Android 14 OS. After the Android 15 rollout, Android 16 will mark its second major upgrade. Besides, Samsung will offer two more big OS updates to the device in the coming years.

Samsung starts work on One UI 8 for Galaxy A54

Samsung appears to have started One UI 8 update preparations for the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone. In a recent development, a new major One UI build has surfaced on the software server, indicating the A54 is readying for its next big upgrade.
As spotted by TarunVats, Samsung has started One UI 8 testing on the Galaxy A54 5G. It’s the first build that is listed on the server, while the rollout may take a few months as flagships are first in line after the Beta Program closure.
At present, the firmware bears PDA build version A546BXXUEEYG5. The build version would keep changing until the official rollout. The last two characters will change more often based on the minor version and test month.
One UI 8 will succeed the One UI 7 update on the Galaxy A54. The users have recently received this major upgrade, and the company is already preparing the next big OS, which aims to refine the user interface and experience further.

Samsung’s Galaxy A54 launched with the Android 13 operating system. The smartphone is guaranteed to receive four major OS upgrades. Android 15 was the second big release, and the next Android 16-based One UI 8 will be the second last.
It means that Galaxy A54 users will be able to effortlessly use their device for at least three years. Android 16 is yet to be released, and Android 17’s software support will continue until at least the end of next year.

Top 3 Big Changes Coming to Samsung One UI 8

The big day has finally arrived! Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 at its Galaxy Unpacked event along with a bunch of other Samsung products. But what’s really got several fans excited is One UI 8 and you can check three of its major changes below.
Right now, Galaxy S25 users are already trying out One UI 8 through the Beta Program. The final version will be smoother and more polished. This time, Samsung is focusing more on improving what already exists, instead of adding too many new features.
One UI 8 will bring fresh features and smart changes to make your phone even better. And we’ve picked out the top 3 major changes you’ll want to know about.
Top 3 One UI 8 Changes
Alert Center for Next-Level Security
Samsung is going to introduce a new feature, Alert Center, under the Security and Privacy section of the Settings with One UI 8. The Alert Center helps keep your Galaxy phone safe and private by sending notifications when something unusual happens or when you need to take action.
There are two main types of alerts: Privacy Alerts and Security Alerts. Privacy alerts tell you if an app uses your camera, mic, or location in the background. Security alerts warn you about harmful apps, missed updates, or account issues.
You may also get tips, like turning on Find My Mobile or setting up fingerprint unlock. Some alerts include quick action buttons to fix issues.
Enhanced Audio Eraser
Samsung’s new AI Audio Eraser in One UI 8 is a big improvement over the version in One UI 7. It works faster and is now available in more apps, not just Samsung Gallery. You can now use it in Samsung Notes and the Voice Recorder app too.

In addition, Samsung makes it easy to use in One UI 8. Just need to tap the AI button, and it removes background noise automatically. It even works in real-time while watching or recording videos, so there’s no need to edit sound later.
Now Bar Support for More Apps
Samsung is improving its Now Bar with the upcoming One UI 8 update. In One UI 7, Live Notifications only worked with a few Samsung apps. But with One UI 8, all apps can use this feature if they support Android 16’s new Live Updates API.

A new setting called “Live notifications for all apps” has been found in the beta version. This means third-party apps will be able to show real-time updates in the Now Bar and status bar.
These are just a few of the big changes coming with One UI 8. But there are many more on the way. Stay tuned as Galaxy Unpacked is only a few hours away!

Samsung advances One UI 8 testing for Galaxy Z Flip 5, Fold 5

Samsung will launch its new foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, on July 9. These new phones will come with the latest One UI 8 software. But before that, Samsung has started testing One UI 8 on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 phones.
The first test builds of One UI 8 have been spotted for these two phones. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 has appeared with the build number F731BXXU5FYG2, and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 with F946BXXU5FYG2 on testing platforms. These test versions show that Samsung is working hard to bring the major update to existing users.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 5 phones were also seen on Geekbench running One UI 8. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 scored 1503 in single-core and 2651 in multi-core tests. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 scored higher, with 1995 and 5055 points. This shows the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is running more smoothly on One UI 8 than the Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Right now, Samsung is only offering the One UI 8 beta to the Galaxy S25 series. Older phones like the Flip 5 and Fold 5 are not part of the public beta, but they are being tested internally. This time, Samsung seems to be keeping the beta program smaller compared to previous versions.
Even though the beta is limited, One UI 8 will bring new features and a smoother user experience. The official update will likely start rolling out after the Galaxy Unpacked event. With the new builds already appearing, Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5 users can expect to get the stable One UI 8 update soon.
