WhatsApp is working on the Chat Themes feature with several design options. The feature is currently under development, but we hope it to come out sooner.

WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp beta for Android 2.24.20.12 has a hidden Chat Themes menu. The feature could let users choose their favorite theme from a range of different design styles!

The latest version includes 11 chat themes, making the collection more diverse and customizable. In particular, the new Blue option is compatible with both light and dark environments.

The developers seemingly preparing to allow users to fully personalize the look and feel of their chats. There will be many themes to choose from, designing the look to match their preferences.

Many users keep WhatsApp to Dark Mode settings even in daytime. The addition of Chat Themes will allow them to fine-tune the brightness level, offering a more comfortable viewing experience.

The customization suite is currently under development. We have to wait till WhatsApp takes it to the Public channel, which would only happen once the internal testing phase finishes.
