One UI 7 animation magic on the horizon, Beta unlikely this week
One UI 7 Beta could not be released this week as well. The most anticipated Beta hasn’t gone official until August 2024. A new input suggests another week of delay in the One UI 7 Beta Program but with animation magic.
According to IceUniverse, Samsung One UI 7 animation and responsiveness in on another level. The source highlights that it is on a different level than the One UI 6.1.1, which users are anticipating to bring major changes.
There’s bad news regarding the Beta release. The tipster notes that the release date is still unclear, at least not for the next week. However, we should anticipate the Beta to be pushed for the S24 series by the second week of the month.

One UI 7 animation will make you ditch One UI 6.1.1 within a minute, the tipster says. IceUniverse is a very credible source in the Samsung ecosystem. It seems the Beta has reached the release stage as new inputs starting to float online.
The same source previously hinted at a major breakthrough in Samsung’s software. The One UI 7 will be significantly improved than the previous versions. The scale of difference would split previous versions in old-era skins.
You will abandon One UI 6.1.1 in less than a minute after using One UI 7, so don’t expect One UI 6.1.1 too much. Just wait for One UI 7.

One UI 7 will bring Android 15 to your Galaxy smartphone and tablet. Google started Android 15’s QPR Beta on Pixel phones and scheduled a Stable OS rollout next month. It’s also a reason behind Samsung’s delay in releasing One UI 7 Beta.
A short and less buggy One UI 7 Beta is anticipated this year. Developers are working to increase the functional stability of the new OS. It would help users discover every minor flaw to help Samsung fix before the Public release starts.

Samsung Galaxy S24’s One UI 7 Beta returns Monday with potential Beta 2 launch
Samsung’s One UI 7 Beta Program for Galaxy S24 series hit full capacity. If you missed joining the Beta Program, there’s good news: Samsung is expected to reopen the One UI 7 Beta on Monday along with the Beta 2 launch.
Max Jambor revealed that Samsung may open the second phase of One UI 7 Beta registration, and the date aligns with previous rumors of a Beta 2 launch. The rollout of the second Beta should bring another opportunity to join the Beta.
At present, Samsung is running the Beta Program for the Galaxy S24 series. The program is already live in four out of six key markets: Germany, South Korea, the UK, and the US.
Samsung stopped Beta registrations just the next day after the Beta launch in the US. It seems the slots are fewer than last year, keeping the Beta build restricted to a limited audience.
Recently, Samsung Support confirmed that the One UI 7 Beta Program will start on December 16 in India, and the same date is rumored for the remaining European market: Poland.
The Beta participants will receive an incremental update as Beta 2 on their Galaxy S24 device. However, the latest build will directly be provided to the Wave 2 markets: India and Poland.
The second Beta of One UI 7 will bring improved animation and transition effects. Samsung users can expect more natural and fluid system animations in the next Beta updates.
One UI 7 Beta 2 – What to expect?
- Smoother animations, fluid transitions
- Enhanced performance and lesser app incompatibility
- Bug fixes and overall user experience improvements
