Samsung Galaxy S21 FE running One UI 7, Android 15 performance revealed
Samsung Galaxy flagships and mid-rangers are continuously appearing with different scores on the Geekbench platform. Currently, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone has been spotted running on Android 15 with the latest One UI 7.
As per the GeekBench benchmarking, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE running One UI 7 has achieved a single-core score of 1508 and a multi-core score of 3261. These numbers show Samsung’s efforts to enhance both the speed and efficiency of their devices with the next software.
Notably, this is not the first time Samsung has teased its future software performance through benchmark leaks. Earlier, Samsung smartphones including the Galaxy A53, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A73, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy A35, Galaxy A55, Galaxy S21 Plus, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and Galaxy S24 Plus also appeared running on the new One UI 7 with distinct scores.
Galaxy S21 Plus Geekbench Score
Back in July 2024, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus running One UI 7 has been spotted on the GeekBench. It achieved a single-core score of 1427 and a multi-core score of 2528. There’s a significant difference in the scores of the S21 Plus and S21 FE.
Based on Android 15, One UI 7 will provide improved performance, new features, and enhancements along with new Galaxy AI features. Some reports revealed that this major update will bring One UI 6 Watch-inspired UI, vertical app drawer, better battery performance, and new AI-powered functionalities.
One UI 7 will be announced at the October 2024 Samsung Developer Conference. The Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be among the first devices to receive this major update. Later, the company will expand it to more Galaxy devices. Stay tuned for more information.

Several Samsung Galaxy S23 users are having issues with the zoom function of the camera after the One UI 6.1.1 update. Specifically, when trying to zoom in between 16x and 19.9x with Intelligent Optimization set to maximum, the photo quality has dropped significantly.
The camera’s zoom issue seems to affect several Galaxy S23 series users, which has led to a lot of complaints on social media and community forums. Users have reported that the camera is not capturing clear images at these (between 16x and 19.9x) zoom levels.
In response to these concerns, Samsung has acknowledged the Galaxy S23 series’s camera issue after the One UI 6.1.1 update through its community. A community moderator has confirmed that the team was able to replicate the issue and expressed apologies for the inconvenience caused to users
Moreover, he has also assured users that Samsung is actively working on a fix and will provide updates as soon as a solution is ready. He also mentions notifying separately about the fix when it will be available.

Samsung is rolling out the One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 smartphones in the US. The update is available for locked models to these 5th generation foldable on Verizon network carrier.
One UI 6.1.1 update arrives on Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones in the US through One UI build versions F741USQU4DXH9 and F946USQU4DXH7 respectively. The company will soon expand this update to all network carriers in the US.
Based on Android 14, One UI 6.1.1 update brings several new features and enhancements to provide a next-level experience. It enhances Circle to Search, Samsung Notes, Interpreter, Live Translate, Chat Assist, and Gallery. Also, it adds new features including Portrait Studio, Live Effect, and Sketch to Image.
Aside from new features and enhancements, the update brings the August 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. Also, it fixes a bunch of issues and updates the app to the latest version to enhance the overall experience.
Notably, the update is already rolled out to these foldables in Europe, India, and Korea. It is a gradual rollout so may take some hours or days to reach all models.
To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Samsung has pushed the One UI 6.1.1 update for the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in India, following the release in Korea. Users of Galaxy S23 FE can identify this major update through One UI build version S711BXXU4DXH7.
One UI 6.1.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S23 FE brings several enhancements and features. It lets you convert your drawings to artwork, improve photo styles, and use text auto-completion on the Samsung Keyboard.
Moreover, it supports real-time translation for calls and text in images, voice-to-text conversion, better PDF management, and dynamic wallpapers. For security enhancements, it installs an August 2024 security patch.
The installation package size of the One UI 6.1.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S23 FE in India is around 2.4GB. At the moment, the update is available in limited countries and the company will extend its availability soon.
