After the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Fold 5 smartphones, Samsung is now making the July 2024 security update available for their predecessors, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. This new update improves system security and stability by installing the latest Android security patch.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are getting the July 2024 security update with One UI builds F721WVLS6FXG2 and F936WVLS6FXG2 respectively. The installation package size is approximately 450MB.
The update is currently rolling out in Canada, with plans to expand to more countries soon. Since the rollout is gradual, it may take several hours or days to reach all models.
Notably, the July 2024 security update protects Galaxy devices against security threats by integrating Android and Samsung’s latest security patches. Additionally, it includes several bug fixes aimed at providing a more reliable and efficient user experience.

Samsung officially launched the Galaxy A16 5G in the Netherlands. The device packs a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, sAMOLED screen, and 50MP camera, and supports 6x OS upgrades. We expect the market availability will be expanded soon.
