Unlocked Galaxy Note 20 series receiving April 2024 update in the US

Samsung has pushed the April 2024 security update for unlocked models of Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra in the US. This update is already out in Brazil and the company will soon make it available in more countries.

April 2024 security update for unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra models in the US can verify the update through One UI build version N98xU1UES6HXD1. Locked models of the Note 20 series could soon get the update in the coming days or weeks.

Users will have to download around a 280MB software package to install the update. Users can easily check and install the update through Settings >> Software Update >> Download and install.

April 2024 Security Update Details

April 2024 security patch details include patches from both Google and Samsung to address vulnerabilities and bugs affecting Android systems and Samsung devices. Google patches 1 critical and 26 high-level of CVEs for the Android operating system.

Additionally, Samsung has also addressed 17 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items to enhance security. It fixes issues related to Storage Manager Service, Out of bounds write, and more.
