One UI 6.1 Galaxy S23 models getting April 2024 update in Canada

Samsung recently began the April 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23 series in Europe and the company is now expanding this update to users in Canada. The update improves the system’s security and stability to deliver a better and enhanced performance.

After the One UI 6.1 update, the April 2024 security patch is the first update for the Galaxy S23 series. The major update brought a bundle of new features and Galaxy AI suite to make the phone smarter and more useful.

Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones are getting an April 2024 security update in Canada with One UI build versions S911WVLS2CXCN, S916WVLS2CXCN, and S918WVLS2CXCN respectively. The installation package size of this update is around 415MB.

To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.
