All day battery, faster charging? Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 says maybe next time

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 may not bring any battery capacity upgrade and faster charging speed. The company appears to be sticking with a 4400mAh battery and 25W charging speed for the fourth time in a row.

IceUniverse revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a 4400mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It’s quite disappointing that the company still lags behind rivals in terms of long-lasting battery and faster charging.

Leak says the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have the same battery and charging speed as the Z Fold 5, Z Fold 4, and Z Fold 3. We may finally get some significant weight reduction this year, but the battery segment could remain untouched.

While the Z Fold 6 has nothing to impress for those wondering about the all-day battery and faster charging, the Z Fold 6 Ultra might address the concern. Notably, Chinese vendors managed to introduce quick charging technologies with their initial foldable models.

Larger battery and faster charging speed always remain a concern with foldable phones. This gets even worse when the device has giant screens on the inner side and cover. The less space the structure left, the less capacity battery could be installed inside.
