In late March 2024, Samsung started expanding the One UI 6.1 update to older Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series. Now it looks like the company will soon release One UI 6.1 update for more flagship devices like the Galaxy S22 series.

We are in April 2024 and a new test build of One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S22 has been spotted by a well-known tipster @Tarunvats on the test server in Europe (UK). The test build for the Galaxy S22 series is S90xBXXU8EXD3 upgraded from EXCF.

This fresh build indicates that Samsung is regularly testing One UI 6.1 builds before rolling it out to Galaxy S22 series. The exact date of the release is not confirmed yet, but it is likely in early April.

A recent report revealed that a March 2024 update will be released for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones on 10 April 2024. In addition to the security patch, the update is expected to include One UI 6.1.
