After several leaks and rumors, Samsung has now officially added a new member to the M series called Galaxy M55 5G. The South Korean tech giant has unveiled the device in Brazil and it comes with several sophisticated features and capabilities.

Some of the key highlights of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G are a 50MP front camera, a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support, and a Snapdragon chip for powerful performance. Let’s delve in and check out more details about the phone.

Galaxy M55 5G Specifications 

The newly launched M series phone equips a 6.7-inch AMOLED Plus display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It is powered on Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset and packs a big 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.

Moving on, the device holds an impressive 50MP camera on the front for selfies and video calls. While, there is a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 50MP main, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro camera to let users capture memories more beautifully.

Additionally, the Galaxy M55 5G is equipped with Samsung Knox Vault, a unique hardware-based security and tamper-proof solution. It further offers 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, dual speakers, IP67 rating, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC-like connectivity options, and a USB-C port.

Last but not least, the smartphone comes pre-installed on Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software and promises to offer 4 Android updates and 5 years of security patches.
