Samsung Galaxy S23, Z Flip/Fold 5 will get March 2024 update in Canada without One UI 6.1

Samsung Galaxy S23 series along with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are confirmed to receive the One UI 6.1 update by the end of March. This major update will be bundled with the March patch in South Korea. However, the upcoming March 2024 patch in Canada will not include One UI 6.1, indicating a later release for Canadian Galaxy devices.

The Fido carrier schedule reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 will receive an update on March 28 in Canada. Despite the timing, this update will not include One UI 6.1. This means Canadian users can expect to receive the One UI 6.1 update in April.

Samsung recently reconfirmed its plans to roll out One UI 6.1 for nine of its flagship smartphones later this month, although a specific date remains unannounced. It is likely to be released soon.

One UI 6.1 is based on Android 14 and offers several new features and Galaxy AI. Some of the Galaxy AI features include Chat Assist, Live Translate, Interpreter, Circle to Search with Google, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, Transcript Assist, and more.
