Samsung silently unveils Galaxy M15 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, 6000mAh battery, and more

Samsung Electronics silently unveils a new M series phone the Galaxy M15 5G with several sophisticated features and functionalities. To be mentioned, this new device is going to be the successor of Galaxy M14 5G launched back on April 17, 2023.

Going toward the details, Samsung unveils Galaxy M15 5G with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 1080 x 2340 pixels, and 396 PPI. The front face of the phone also has a waterdrop notch to house a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.

The smartphone boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with Mali-G57 MC2 for graphics to offer users a seamless and boosted performance. Accordingly, the chipset is coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, further expandable via a microSD card.

For photography lovers, the Galaxy M15 5G offers a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary with f/1.8 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro unit. To provide users with overlong use, the smartphone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

Furthermore, the device runs on Android 14-based One UI 6 custom skin and promises to offer four generations of Android updates and five years of security patches. Other elements of the phone include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging.

However, the price and availability of the Galaxy M15 5G smartphone are currently under wraps, but we can expect that the Korean tech giant will soon put the newly launched device on sale with some exciting offers.
