Samsung One UI 6.1.1 development progressing, new build spotted for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 in the US

Last month, we saw that Samsung has started working on its next iteration of One UI, meanwhile, now recent information claims that the One UI 6.1.1 development is progressing as a new build has been spotted for Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in the US.

For those who are not aware, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are the sixth generation foldable phones, that are expected to come pre-installed on Android 14 based One UI 6.1.1. And for this, the Korean tech giant has begun the testing of the new software.

According to the details, the new One UI 6.1.1 build spotted for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 carries build versions F956USQU0AXC1 and F741USQU0AXC1 respectively. Simultaneously, these builds also suggest that the testing is progressing for locked units in the US.

Based on Android 14 the One UI 6.1.1 is expected to bring new security features, performance improvements, new elements, customization options, and much more. One of the prominent features of One UI 6.1.1 is going to be the vertical app drawer for an optimized experience.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked Event in July 2024 with some upgraded software and hardware capabilities as compared to their predecessors.
