Google recently dropped its first Developer Preview of Android 15, which does not bring a lot of surprises but it certainly is off to a good start. One of the most noticeable features of Android 15 DP1 is Partial Screen Sharing and it is also expected to arrive with the next iteration of Samsung custom skin – One UI 7.

As per the details, the first Android 15 Developer Preview brings Partial screen sharing, which will increase privacy grades, improve user productivity, and enhance multitasking by enabling users to run multiple apps but restrict content sharing to a single app.

It means the feature will let you record the specific portion of the screen that you need to share with someone. This certainly is a great way of improving privacy while being able to share the screen without any hiccups. This is helpful in the situation when you need to share the content of any particular app.

With partial screen sharing, the status bar, navigation bar, notifications, and other system UI elements are also excluded from the shared display, to enhance user’s privacy and offer an adequate experience.

However, this partial screen sharing was first seen in Android 14 QPR2 and with the latest Android 15 Developer Preview, Google is bringing this feature out. Thus, we could expect Samsung to bring this prominent Partial screen-sharing feature to Galaxy devices with Android 15 One UI 7 software.
