Oops, Something Went Wrong: Google Assistant fails on Android Auto for some users

Published

on

Some users of Android Auto are facing issues with Google Assistant after recent updates. Google Assistant fails to respond to any voice command on Android Auto, and instead shows an error message saying “Oops, something went wrong”.

The issue is not affecting all Android Auto users, but it is frustrating for those who rely on Google Assistant for making calls, playing music, navigating, and more.

Notably, this issue comes shortly after Google released a new look for the Google Assistant on Android Auto. However, the design change does not appear to have anything to do with this error.

Google has not officially acknowledged the issue or provided a solution yet, but some users have suggested possible solutions, such as updating the apps, installing the beta version of Android Auto, or uninstalling the updates.

However, these solutions may not work for everyone and the best hope is that Google will fix the bug soon.
