Some Samsung Galaxy users have reported that they are unable to touch or run apps on their smartphones’ home screen or scroll the screen in any direction. This issue is caused by a bug in the Google App, which affects the functionality of the home screen launcher.

According to Samsung, the Google App developer is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. However, until the fix is released, there is a temporary solution that can help users improve the situation.

To solve the issue, you need to update the Google App, delete its storage data, and restart the device.

Update Google app

  • Go to the Google Play Store app and search for Google App. Tap the Update button to install the latest version of the app.

Delete Google app storage data

  • Open Settings and select Apps. Find the Google App and tap on it. Then tap on Storage and select Delete data. This will clear the app’s cache and data.

Restart the device

  • Press and hold the Power button and select Restart. This will reboot the device and refresh the system.

By following these steps, you will be able to use the Google App on your Galaxy device without any issues. However, this is only a temporary fix and you should wait for an official update from Google to resolve the bug permanently.
