Samsung has significantly upgraded Galaxy’s camera performance by installing the AI-powered ProVisual Engine in the Galaxy S24 series. It delivers optimal shooting results through 112 visual AI models and a high-performance NPU (neural network processing unit).

Notably, the South Korean tech giant first introduced the visual AI model in the Galaxy S10 in 2019.  At the time, there were 4 AI models, but the Galaxy S24 boasts 112 AI models, which is 28 times higher. This allows accurate image recognition and improved image quality.

Samsung claims that it has completed an advanced AI model based on over 400 million high-quality image data. Thanks to the high-performance NPU, the products can quickly collect the vast amount of data needed to implement nightography, AI zoom, super HDR, and slow-mo video.

Additionally, Samsung’s collaboration with Meta has made it possible to shoot and upload photos in the same high quality as the basic camera on Instagram. The visual AI applied to the Galaxy S24 provides the optimal solution by combining the AI model, data, and NPU.

The Galaxy S24 series is the first smartphone that uploads photos and videos in HDR quality on Instagram. The fact that it is possible to shoot on Instagram and Snapchat with the same functions and image quality as the basic Galaxy camera is also a key appeal targeting youngsters.
