Samsung releases January 2024 update to Galaxy S22 and One UI 6.0 to A15 5G in Europe

Samsung is expanding its January 2024 security update for the Galaxy S22 series and Android 14-based One UI 6.0 for Galaxy A14 5G to Europe. The company has already rolled out these firmware updates in certain markets, with Europeans now getting access to them.

Earlier today, Samsung started rolling out the January 2024 patches to the Galaxy S23 series in the US. Later on, the company expanded it to markets like Germany and India. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 series and A14 5G are also getting their January 2024 patch and One UI 6.0 update in Europe.

Galaxy S22’s update is meant for only security improvement and fixes for 74 vulnerabilities. Meanwhile, it’s a big deal for the owners of Galaxy A14 5G as the phone is about to radically enhance the user interface as well as the addition of new user-friendly features.

How to check for updates?

You can easily check for new updates on your Samsung Galaxy. Just head toward system Settings, scroll down and tap on the Software update option. Once done, you have to hit the Download and install button as soon as your Galaxy fetches a new firmware release.
