Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 receiving December 2023 update in India

Samsung has released a December 2023 security update for its Galaxy Watch 4 smartwatch in India. The update arrives with build version R870XXU1HWL1 and a size of 517.19MB. It is currently rolling out for the Bluetooth variant of the smartwatch.

The update improves the system security of the Galaxy Watch 4 by fixing some vulnerabilities and bugs. It also provides some general improvements to the watch’s performance and stability.

To install the December 2023 security update on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 in India, users need to open the Samsung Wearable app on their paired smartphone, find their watch, and go to the Software Update section. If the update is available, users can download and install it.

Aside from this, Verizon recently released a December 2023 security update for Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 in the US. This update simplified the Samsung app names on the watch by removing the “Samsung” prefix.
