Huawei isn’t dumping Android-based EMUI for HarmonyOS Global

Yesterday, it was reported that Huawei’s HarmonyOS will no longer be compatible with Android apps (APK) next year. Well, Huawei stated that there are currently no plans to use HarmonyOS on Global devices, with Android-based EMUI will live on.

The Chinese phone maker said that it will continue to increase its support for developers around the world, provide better development environments and tools, bring better experiences and more entrances, and achieve greater business value.
