November 2023 One UI 6.0 update will refine Widget Animations: Samsung

Stable One UI 6 update is now officially rolling out to selected Galaxy devices after a long beta testing period. The new update brings a host of improvements and features, such as redesigned widgets, enhanced privacy controls, and more.

However, some users have reported an issue with the animation of returning to the home screen after using a widget. This issue only affects users who have enabled the ‘Swipe gesture in multiple directions’ option in the navigation settings. Users who use Button-type navigation or Swipe gestures from bottom to top do not experience this problem.

Samsung has acknowledged this issue and has promised to fix it soon. The community moderator says that the team is working hard to provide optimized animations for the widget and gesture combination. The company will fix the issue with the November 2023 software update.

Furthermore, the moderator also assures users that other improvements that were not fully reflected during the beta period will continue to be implemented even after the official release of One UI 6.
