Unlock Better Sleep and Health with Samsung’s New Sleep Apnea Feature on Galaxy Watch!
Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has approved the new Sleep Apnea feature on the Samsung Health Monitor app. Following this, the company announced that Sleep Apnea is coming to the Galaxy Watch series in Korea early next year.
This new Galaxy Watch feature will enable more people to spot obstructive Sleep Apnea symptoms in the early stages. It’s designed to enable more people to proactively spot signs of the condition, encourage discovery earlier, and further reduce the possibility of health-related complications.

Considered a common yet serious medical condition, sleep apnea causes someone to stop breathing while asleep, which can result in disruptions in oxygen supply, lower sleep quality, and other health complications such as hypertension, cardiac disorder, stroke, or cognitive disorder.
By leveraging Galaxy Watch’s BioActive Sensor, the Sleep Apnea feature monitors blood oxygen levels during sleep and identifies moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. Users are required to track their sleep twice, each time more than 4 hours, within 10 days to gauge whether they have these symptoms.

During the game, competitors must dodge obstacles and collect as many Galaxy Rings as possible to win. Later, SAM reacts to the player’s actions, offering a direct interaction experience between gamers and their 3D avatar.
SAM x BGS
BGS visitors can enjoy Watch Out on the main stage at the Samsung Booth. Games will be played during the intervals of the stage attractions, allowing the audience to compete in quick matches of up to three minutes.
Depending on their performance in the game, participants will be able to take home exclusive SAM items, such as sweatshirts, mousepads, and pins. It’s pretty interactive activity that the Korean tech giant has prepared for its consumers in Latin America.
