WhatsApp might soon allow you to contact a user on WhatsApp even without having a WhatsApp account. To comply with the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, WhatsApp reportedly began making changes in the application, which will bring the third-party chats feature.
According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp beta for Android 18.104.22.168 update embeds a new section dedicated to the new regulations. Since the third-party chats section is under development, it appears empty and it’s not accessible to users.

WhatsApp Empowers Community Admins with Enhanced Member Control in Latest Update
WhatsApp starts rolling out a new Beta update through Google Play Store to Android users. WhatsApp Beta 188.8.131.52 version comes with an additional option for community admins, as part of empowering them with enhanced member control.
After updating to the WhatsApp Beta 184.108.40.206 version, a new community setting is available, which allows community admins to decide who can add members to the community. The default option restricts this action to community admins, offering the ability to directly add members.
It’s worth mentioning that community admins can allow some to add members directly, which can be done by selecting the “everyone” option. However, the joining link generated by the admin will still allow members to invite WhatsApp users to the community.
