Galaxy devices won’t support Samsung’s Video Library app after Android 14 update in 2024
Samsung has announced that it will discontinue the app update and compatibility support for its Video Library app. The app will no longer receive new features and services through updates and compatibility with new OS versions.
The Korean tech giant says that the app has a low usage and activation rate and that it is hard to differentiate it from other video apps. Therefore, Samsung has decided to focus on other apps and platforms that offer better services and experiences for its users.
The app will still work on the devices and OS versions that are compatible with it until the end of 2023. However, after that, the app will not receive any new features and services that are supported through app updates and compatibility with new OS versions. This means that you might encounter issues or errors while using the app on newer devices or OS versions.
The devices and OS versions that are compatible with the app are Galaxy S23/22/21/20/10/9/8/7/6/5 series, Galaxy Note 20/10/9/8/7/6/5/4 series, and all models of Galaxy Z/A/M series, running on Android 6 to Android 13.

During the game, competitors must dodge obstacles and collect as many Galaxy Rings as possible to win. Later, SAM reacts to the player’s actions, offering a direct interaction experience between gamers and their 3D avatar.
SAM x BGS
BGS visitors can enjoy Watch Out on the main stage at the Samsung Booth. Games will be played during the intervals of the stage attractions, allowing the audience to compete in quick matches of up to three minutes.
Depending on their performance in the game, participants will be able to take home exclusive SAM items, such as sweatshirts, mousepads, and pins. It’s pretty interactive activity that the Korean tech giant has prepared for its consumers in Latin America.
