As the popularity of AI tools is rapidly growing, Samsung is reportedly planning to bring a video generator to Galaxy devices. Tipster @Tech_Reve today revealed that the company has plans to integrate a video-generating AI app that creates short-form videos into Galaxy phones.

The tipster also claimed that Samsung invested in “Irreverent Labs” and engaged in discussions regarding related business endeavors. Earlier, TechCrunch reported that Washington–based startup called Irreverent Labs just closed on a new round of funding, led by Samsung Next.

Per Irreverent Labs’ co-founder and CEO, Rahul Sood, the company elected to work more closely with Samsung as a strategic investor partly to access Samsung Next portfolio companies that may want to use its API. Further, the outfit will be working with Samsung’s device units in order to develop a larger distribution strategy.

Apart from this, Korean media reported that Samsung could launch its own-developed Generative AI chatbot in September. For now, the chatbot is likely to be only available for the company’s employees, while Samsung Internet might gain AI capabilities in the future.
