Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 DXOMARK Camera Test – Ranking, Pros and Cons

Smartphone evaluation firm DXOMARK revealed its review of the latest Samsung foldable. While the Galaxy Z Flip 5 doesn’t bring powerful camera hardware, it performs well, giving tough competition to rivals. On DXOMARK’s camera chart, the phone is positioned in the 44th spot.

According to DXOMARK, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 camera brings good exposure and wide dynamic range, accurate white balance in daylight and indoors, good texture with ultra-wide camera, fast and stable photo and video autofocus in most conditions, low noise levels in daylight video and effective video stabilization.

The evaluation report also lists some cons of the Flip 5 including frequent white balance casts, especially in low light, noise in photos in most conditions, especially close to the edges, strong moving texture artifacts on faces in low light and lack of dedicated tele lens results in low level of detail in tele shots.

  • Under sunlight, colorful content appears flat and unnatural
